How KIOSK is Breathing New Life into the Jetty

Walk past the jetty at Wellington Point lately and you will notice a whole lot of action as the old Oxley on the Bay site transforms into a brand-new coastal hangout called KIOSK.

According to local industry reports, who could have predicted that the old jetty landmark would soon pour specialty coffee from Coffee Supreme? The creative minds behind Sunsets and Ruma are driving this transformation, swapping out standard takeaway fare for a relaxed, high-end beachside aesthetic.

Workers are busy slathering warm cream and faded terracotta paint across the walls, installing vintage signage, and meticulously painting hand-crafted details that nod to decades past. Why let a prime waterfront spot gather dust when it can anchor an entire multi-venue hospitality hub?

Beyond the fresh paint, the menu blends traditional beachside comfort with modern culinary ambition. Fresh seafood, burgers, and classic fish and chips share menu space with artisan pastries, old-school ice cream, and a rotation of secret nostalgic favorites.

Cyclists and weekend day-trippers will find plenty to love once the doors finally open.

Curious locals are already tracking the progress on Instagram, watching raw construction slowly give way to a community-focused gathering space.
